Grand Board and VDarts App

Is it really possible to use the gran board 2 with the VDarts app?

UPDATE: This no longer works with newer versions of the VDarts app.  They have sinced blocked using the Granboard with VDarts.  It was a nice feature while it was there.  Oh well.

I had recently seen a post around using the VDarts App with a Gran Board physical dart board.  I was skeptical when I heard this, because in general the Vdarts app has had problems connecting to it’s own physical board.  I also would have never thought these competing companies would allow this. The apps for the boards are free, and the companies make the money by selling the physical dartboard to unlock the use of the app.  In my opinion, the quality and the user experience of the board makes the app.

I wouldn’t be suprised if VDarts blocked this capability in an update, but as of now this DOES work!  Could the companies be merging (probably not, but it’s fun to spread rumors on the internet)?

Here’s our video confirming you can use the VDarts app with Gran Board 2.  We used VDarts app version 1.30.16 in this video.

    Been using Vdarts with GranBoard Lite for 3 months zero issues. The Chinese companies all steal each other’s ideas and technology. Not very surprising that it works. If you observe you’ll also notice that Vdarts, GranBoard, DARTSLIVE, HiDarts, DartsConnect, Triumph Sports etc, all have similar graphics and cut screens. All the graphics have been copied and stolen between manufacturers. Happens with every Chinese spawned industry.

    wow, great post.

    but it looks like unidarts copied that from the modmydartboard project.

    these guys behind the modmdartboard project are available already over a year and offer a module which enables crossplatform playing of nearly all boards and apps like unidarts ?!?!

    i have one module for over a year now without any prob with great community!

    but gladfully we have those both options.
