Welcome to the Kraken Darts blog!

We started as a group of friends looking for hobby.  In the late summer of 2015 we gave soft-tip darts a try.  A brief introduction, getting thrown into a few local bar tournaments, and boom….the birth of some dart addicts.  Our generation is all about searching for information on the interwebs, and surprisingly there wasn’t much out there in regards to playing darts, the gear, and even tips on form and technique (at least for the US market).  Our motivation is to provide insight, tips, experiences, gear review to other dart playing fanatics.  We’re building and sharing information that we wish existed when we first started playing darts.  We hope both new and experienced dart fanatics find something useful on our site.  On our site there will be affiliate links for products on Amazon, which are there to both help you find products you need that we mention, as well as to support running our site and content creation.

Why are we called Kraken you asked?  Well one of the things we enjoyed before darts was squidding.  Squid darts just didn’t sound cool, and Kraken (a mythical giant squid or octopus creature) darts sounded way cooler.
