I’m a fan of the no.5 size points for soft-tip darts.  In fact, most of my darts use No.5, and when there’s an option, I opt for it.

In the 2016 Dartslive Superleague Fiesta in Las Vegas, I had issues with my N0.5 tips sticking in the boards.  I hadn’t had these issues at my hometown boards with either G3 and Dartslive.  Someone had mentioned the boards at the Fiesta were tournament boards that had been used and abused.  Around the same time, Lippoint premium’s for 2BA were announced and it left me wondering if No.5 were going to be discontinued….happy to say they’re not!

They’ve announced a Japan release on Novemeber 29th, but not sure when it will hit the USA market.  I’m itchin’ to get my hands on these.  I would probably stick with regular lippoints for my home boards, and make sure I use premiums on used/abused commercial boards.

The first release will have limited colors available, black, white, and shoking pink.  Not sure what shoking pink is, but i’d rock em!
