It hasn’t happened often, but this time I had the thrill of victory!  I think this is only the second time I’ve taken 1st place.  I felt like I played good 01, and didn’t meet my expectations for cricket.  The stats look ok, but that’s the feeling I remember having during the tournament, feeling disappointed with my cricket game.  Thinking back it’s a bit odd to feel that way considering we didn’t lose a game until the finals, where we lost the first medley and won the second medley to take 1st place.

For the night my 01 game stats was an average of 90 ppr with a high of 117.5 ppr.  Cricket doesn’t look too bad on paper, with a best of 4.00 mpr and an average of 3.06 mpr.

I find it interesting you can feel a certain way about your game (be it good or bad), and then seeing the numbers can tell different story.  My negative feelings on my cricket game was probably related to my expectations on what I felt I should have thrown, or maybe key situations that I missed on.  Throughout the night there will always be highs and lows, and I will have to learn to deal with those feelings and emotions to achieve better and more consistent results from the oche.
